Notepad++ is a free and extensible source code editor. It allows to define syntax highlighting for custom languages (such as Rax) and through its system of plugins, it provides a console that is able to run custom commands (such as Rax interpreter). It can be therefore customized to become a handy tool for creating and executing Rax scripts.

Obtaining Notepad++

Notepad++ is typically a part of Rax installation on Windows. If, for some reason, you didn't have Notepad++ installed together with Rax, you can download it from its home page http://notepad-plus-plus.org/.
