Associating Rax files with Notepad++

To make Rax files open automatically in Notepad++ after double-clicking on them, you need to associate the .rax file extension with Notepad++. To do that, open your Control Panel, select View by: -> Large Icons and click on Default Programs. Next, click on Associate a file type or protocol with a program. In the list of extensions, search for .rax (see Figure A.6, “.rax in the file extensions list”), then click on Change program... in the top-right corner.

In the dialog that pop up, select Browse... and navigate to Notepad++ installation directory (typically C:\Program Files\Notepad++) and select Notepad++.exe (see Figure A.7, “Selecting Notepad++ as the default editor for .rax files” ). Clink on Open to go back to the previous dialog and then OK. Now your .rax files are associated with Notepad++, which means that when you click on a file with .rax extension, it will be automatically opened in Notepad++.
